The Router is a physical box which often provides a panel of ports into which are plugged the network cables which run to your networked PCs. It may also have an aerial to allow laptops to make a wireless connection to your computer network. The router is often connected to a broadband modem via a network cable. The broadband routers is a separate box through which your broadband connection is supplied, however sometimes the router may incorporate a broadband modem in which case your ADSL line would plug directly into your router rather than a separate broadband router.

For most businesses, their landline bill is issued by Telstra and is separate from their mobile bill(s). We don’t need to know how much your mobiles cost, just how much you’re being charged for your landlines.

VOIP phone calls travel via your internet connection rather than your phone lines,
and because of this it is critically important that we ensure that your broadband connection and router are adequate. Additionally, the information relating to your PBX and phone lines allows us to assess what (if any) upgrades may be required to your existing phone system.
